Clean off all organic growth, algae and moss etc then pre-wet areas where you’re removing carbon one area at at time. Cold water is fine. Some brickwork may need degreasing first. Apply HDRC evenly by soft brush or low pressure sprayer. We recommend soft bristle car cleaning brushes and the Goizper IK sprayers. Allow approx 5 to 10 minutes contact time and wash off thoroughly with pressure washer at minimum of 80 bar. We like to use hot water steam during our cleaning works. Repeat if necessary depending on extent and heaviness of soiling.

DILUTE?

Always carry out a sample area first with a weaker dilution rate and you’ll get a feel for what is working best for your sitution based on the level of carbon soiling on the surface. Start with 3 parts water to 1 part HDRC, 3:1.
On sandstone it is normal to use product at full strength as supplied.
We don’t recommend using this product neat on brickwork. You will risk burning certain bricks.

HDRC will etch glass, polished surfaces and discolour metal surfaces such as copper,bronze & aluminium.
Its ideal and very important to spend the time masking up and protecting windows, door handles, letterboxes and other metal light fittings etc. We recommend TPS Sheeting from your local Travis Perkins and some good gaffer tape.

Our Heavy Duty Restoration Cleaner contains hydrofluoric acid and phosphoric acid.
Wear suitable PPE including Guantlet Gloves, Face Visor and Protective Clothing.
Have HF Burns Gel (calcium gluconate) on your van and a supply of clean water should always be available when using this product.
