Rust Away Pro by Blast Away is a professional use only rust stain remover for the exterior cleaning industry. Use on cladding, render, concrete, brick and more.
Contains hydrofluoric acid and extreme caution is required when using this product including the correct PPE and have calcium gluconate HF gel available and accessible at all times.
An alternative to our Rust Away which is Hydrochloric based. The difference? You can use this on surfaces where you wouldn’t use HCl and vice versa.

HOW TO APPLY?
FIRSTLY ENSURE YOU ARE FULLY PROTECTED, PPE IS PARAMOUNT!!!Â
Clean off all organic growth and grime etc then pre-wet areas where you’re removing rust from. No need to pre wet non porous surfaces. Use a Goizper IK sprayer for larger areas or a paint brush and kettle pot to treat smaller stains. Works almost intantly then wash off thoroughly with pressure washer at minimum of 80 bar. We like to use hot water steam during our cleaning works. Repeat if necessary depending on extent and heaviness of soiling.
Tip: Cladding rust runs use Rust Away with a magic sponge but ensure you’re wearing gauntlet gloves.
DILUTE?
Start with 5 parts water to 1 part Rust Away and go a stronger ratio where more stubborn or heavy.
Rust Away Pro will damage glass and discolour metal surfaces such as copper, bronze, lead & aluminium.
It’s ideal and very important to spend the time masking up and protecting windows, door handles, letterboxes and other metal light fittings etc. We recommend TPS Sheeting from your local Travis Perkins and some good gaffer tape.

A supply of clean water should always be available when using this product.
